My name is Marko born in Pula. Since we bought the bigger 12m boat in 2021 I decide I'll quit my Navigational Officer job and start work permanently on our Tunana family business. I fell in love with tuna fishing in 2013 the moment I hooked and rilled in my first bluefin of 2,11m and 110kg. After that few more personal records and endless fights with this magnificent fish and countless dawns and sunsets at sea onboard our Tunana boat. Every tuna I catch I'm happy as it's my first one, and always remind myself how grateful I am to have this opportunity and privilege to work as a captain on a charter boat and to share such amazing experiences with fishermen from around the world. My goal is to transmit this wonderful experience of spending a day at sea, on such a nice boat, the lifestyle that I'm lucky to live for the most part of the year, all of that whit few rods in the sea waiting for the most wonderful fish to bite and to cheer us up even more!

Von A wie angeln bis Z wie Zielfisch hat hier einfach alles gepasst. Marco und Emanuel sind wirklich sehr sehr sehr weiter zu empfehlen. Sehr nette Crew, mit einem tollen Boot, samt Ausstattung und nötiger Erfahrung. Wir hatten einen superschönen Tag, mit einem 60kg Thun, passender kleiner Feier zum Erfolg und eine wirklich leckere handgefertigte kroatische Wurst-Käse-Platte. Als Krönung oben drauf, ist der Skipper Marco zeitlich so nach Hause gefahren, dass wir auch noch den schönsten Sonnenuntergang überhaupt erleben durften. Marco und Emanuel, vielen vielen Dank dafür und wir kommen wieder :0).

Marko und seine Crew waren top. Das Boot ist perfekt ausgestattet. Sie unternahmen alles, um einen Tuna zu fangen. Es wurde permanent gefüttert und 'smell' köder ausgelegt. Das an diesem Tag kein Tuna vorbeischwamm... ja das ist Fischen. Es gab auch gute Gespräche über die verschiedenen Angelmethoden, was interessant war, da sie von unseren abweichen. Wir wurden auch toll verköstigt und es war ein perfekter Angelausflug. Auch als Mitfahrende nicht fischende Frau, ein toller Tag. Wir können Marko nur absolut empfehlen und kommen sicher wieder.

Thanks to Marko and Stefan to make my first tuna possible. Start 03:30 am, travelling to the sardine fishing boats. And Marko did pick the correct one: A lot of dolphins around, strike after a few minutes fishing and after 40 minutes my first Tuna, crew did guess 80-90kg, released. Travelling to next spot for drifting, next strike after a few minutes, unfortunately line broken without much pressure; mystery - but that's fishing. Thank you so much guys for this great experience in big game fishing.
