Tunana Fishing Charter is run by Marko Pavlović, a professional skipper with over 10 years of experience in big game fishing and charter operations in the Adriatic.

Together with his trusted deckhand, he offers a high-level, detail-focused tuna fishing experience built on years of hands-on work, local knowledge, and passion for the sea. This is not a standard fishing trip it is a specialized bluefin tuna experience, where everything is set up with one goal: giving you the best possible chance and a true big game feeling on the water.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 38’ (11.5m) Cantieri Costa Smeralda, a solid and comfortable offshore boat designed for serious fishing. The boat is equipped with a fighting chair, top-quality rods and reels, and advanced fish-finding electronics, allowing precise positioning and efficient fishing in all conditions. Comfort is just as important, the boat offers a spacious deck, seating areas, toilet, sofa and air conditioning, making longer sessions at sea relaxed and enjoyable.

Fishing is done in the productive waters off Medulin, southern Istria, typically within 5–10 nautical miles from the coast. Depending on the conditions, trips are organized around sunrise or sunset, when tuna activity is at its peak. Every trip is fully organized, from equipment and bait to guidance and onboard experience, so you can focus completely on the fishing.

Marko regularly participates in tuna fishing tournaments, where he consistently achieves strong results, bringing that same level of focus and precision into every charter. If you’re looking for a professional, well-organized and truly premium tuna fishing experience, Tunana Fishing Charter delivers exactly that.
