Background
I grew up in a family that worked on the water. I loved it, watching ships built, christened, and off-loading. Fishing was a natural end. I started at 3-4ish trying to catch whatever, graduating to Flounder, Bass, Trout, Pickerel, Strippers, Cod, Bluefin Tuna, Mahi, Sails, Marlin, etc. All types of fishing bring great joy to me and helping others enjoy is a big part of the fun of fishing.
Techniques
The style of fishing or the techniques are very important to be successful. I have tried very hard to master most techniques from casting plugs, trolling, fly fishing, live lining, bait fishing, sight fishing, jigging, and more. I have been very luching to be taught some of the methods by some awesome teachers. Ed Holly, Al Cappy, --- My favorite technique is the one we use to have a successful day . With over fifty years of experience the fishy waters are my back yard. Successful fun trips are a specialty

Last few days have been some of the best fishing of the season. Bass are everywhere and we found a mess if them the other day-big fish. Adding more excitement were a big bluefish mixed in - which do I have???? The blues are aggressive and hungry. The tuna bite is also excellent ,some really big fish are around with some littler ones mixed in . We released a big one the other day, what a fight little over and hour on the rod, they are unbelievably strong. Shark add more excitement - they are stong aggressive and don't give up. Got a pair of Blue Sharks -absolutely beautiful cobalt blue . Coupe of porbeagle also added there excitement with super fast runs and a lot of surface splashing. It doesn't get any better. i hope all are heathy and safe had a few changes this winter. The boat get a tuna door, the captain get a new hip. I am proud of the folks who visit our vessel . October is a fishermans dream Ypwrature and seas are nice, shy is blue and the fall feed is on!!! Stripe bass are moving down from Maine hungry and feeding heavy. Yesterday we were on a bass charter. Fished all the spots we usually do. Go to a spot we often go for giants. They were there. Our 9 year old hooked up. The fight was on. He relled and pumped for over 20 minutes. He would give up and when the fish saw the boat. He took off . Finely fish go close and help the youngster move back . The fish was in the net , they help get it our the rail!!! 36.7 lbs. Wow. Photos were taken. The fish was released inharmed. Dad hooked up got a good look at it almost the size as the fist. Dad hooked up again. Big fish- dad lost another:-. Book now for some Great bass fishing

Cory and Tonya boarded Lobster Tales at day break. We headed out to one of our favorite spot. Weather was cloudy, visibility 1/2 mile in fog, sea about 21/2 ft , wind 10-12 knots. As the day moved on the weather got better . We dropped anchor ,got the gear ready. Tonya got us fresh bait on the sabiki in a mater minutes. The rods were set up depth set. while we waited we did see another boat hook up. Fish are around. Tonya kept one the sabiki all day giving us a load of bait. The day went on pretty quiet. Capt. John started a little trick . old style. They should have pulled anchor but the skipper said not yet!!! the middle rod went off. We cleared the other rods- the fish took off like a bullet to the bow. it kept on going-Cory was on the rod. He started tto turn the fish-took off behind the boat. Taking the 150 foot topshot off-crazy fish. Cory kept at it Tonya cheered him on. The fish came up making circles . One circle was close and Capt. John harpooned it. Good shot. Gaffed the fish on went the tail rope - Cory had himself a bluefin tuna. Great Job.

Left the dock with Darrell, his wife and friends. I was told they fish before but not this type of fishing. Steamed out to the se. grounds . Conditions were perfect so we drifted. These folk caught everything that came near the hook! Haddock after haddock, mostly good size. Them a cod, a redfish , some nice cusk were added to the mix. They knew how to catch fish!!! The highlight was- the opportunity to watch a humpback whale - breech time and time again. Fantastic. Not a sight you often see. Thank you folks appreciate you aboard.
