Half day trip pm • 2 adultsJJ Brown of Kenai River Trout Anglers answered all my questions about the charter, made it easy to setup our trip. Our guide Brandon contacted us the day before to go over some information and get our shoe and wader sizes, this made our shore setup time shorter, and on the river sooner. Brandon shared many stories and information about the area with us. We covered a large stretch of the river working caster and fly rods. He did his best under our wet weather and high water conditions to put us on some fish. It was a fun afternoon, we would recommend chartering with these guys.

Half day trip private 2 people am • 2 adultsHue was a great fishing guide, showing my wife and I the ropes of bead fishing with a fly rod, which we had never done before. we landed several Rainbow and Dolly Varden, and I even had a shot at a really good sized Dolly! Communication was great, Hue was very knowledgeable, and manuvered the boat through the river like a pro. I would definately recommend this trip to others!

Private boat full day 2 people • 2 adultswe did an eight hour private tour with Matt, it was totally worth it to do the private tour and to do the eight hour. For us because it’s our first time fishing here my first time fishing and my husband’s new a fly fishing. Matt knew all the spots and helped us so much and we caught tons of fish. I would definitely recommend you to sign up. Spend the extra money and do the private tour.

Our guide (Brandon) did a great job of explaining the process and helping us understand the methods. We caught some nice fish and even had a couple “double” catches. Very beautiful and relaxing fishing trip. I would recommend this to anyone looking to experience Alaska and its beauty.

This is the last month for Dolly Varden. Last chance to catch Salmon, as they start to die off after breeding. The rivers become less crowded, but it becomes harder to get a bite overall.
