We did the 2-hour. Timing was bad because it was right in between tides. Big Al put us in a spot where we caught black drum and ladyfish. Once the action died down we moved to another spot where we had various action, but then right at the end of our time we had a huge hit that turned out to be a P.B. 40” Redfish.

Planned a 3 hour fishing trip with Al for my grandsons who were visiting from New England.  They loved catching a variety of fish and seeing Mosquito Lagoon. Al was quick to rebait hooks as needed, and cast their lines of and when they needed.  They hope to come back and do it again.

This was our second trip with Big Al and it was as enjoyable as our first one back in June 2023. He was waiting for us when we arrived.  Once we were on board, we were off and running. When we started, there was a weather front in the distance and he immediately set a course to avoid it. We stayed high and dry our entire trip.  We went to several locations to fish and consistently caught them throughout our trip. Had an amazing fishing experience with Big Al. He was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time. We had a party of 4, which included my 14 year old son. I would recommend him 100 times and will be calling him on my next trip to New Smyrna Beach.
