Booked a half day trip with the family and it turned out to be a trip we will never forget.  Chad and Nano were great with the kids! Such a great trip for the family.  My son was able to catch a Hammerhead Shark, which was a fish of a lifetime!  They did a great job coaching him during the process and made it a lot of fun! I did a lot of research prior to booking, and it paid off. These guys were great! Definitely would book another trip if we come back to Miami area.

The Dynamic Duo of Chad and Nano are fantastic! Professional, Punctual and Purposeful. All advanced communications were clear and specific which led us to the docking position, and allowed us to arrive prepared for whatever was to happen. Weather was crazy but me and the boys still wanted to go out. Captain & TJ took us out and braved the conditions. Both guys with me got sick even with being on such a large boat that was expertly captained. Finally guys with me couldn’t handle the waves which were super high. But the boat and crew did all they could and more than one could ask to still try to get fish in the boat on a very bad weather day. I recommend them.

We had a great time on charter with Chad and TJ, they knew what they were doing and were great at getting us to the fish, my friend who was going fishing the first time got Bonita, Mahi and Tuna. Overall great trip, and highly recommend!

I took my 10-year-old out for his first charter fishing boat experience and The Old Hat did not disappoint.  The boat was ready as were the poles and rigs. The first mate Nano was fantastic as was Chad the captain. I braced my son for the possibility that we might not catch fish, after all, it is called fishing and not catching. But these guys have now ruined him, he caught 3 King fish, 5 Bonita, 2 Barracuda, and multiple other fish we had to throw back including a sailfish. Great experience... More
