Great time.  Guys experienced and very pleasant.  Definitely doing it again next time we are back in marathon.

I3/16/2018. I have chartered many fishing trips in the past and many have been very enjoyable; HOWEVER none have come close in comparison to the professionalism and care that they showed me and my guests! Capt Mike and his right hand man Chris are serious about their profession and I would argue that they are the very best of charters out of Marathon and the Keys!  6 very large Yellow Fin Tuna, a monster Amberjack, and a 7’ 180 lb Mako Shark to finish the 3/4 day trip! AMAZING!

We headed out after Tarpon in the evening (Tarpon was not available as a selection from fishingbooker in this review).  Captain Nick did a bit of scouting and put us directly on the fish, he knew exactly where to head to.  He was serious about catching fish and is NOT just looking to take you on a boat ride, throw a few lines and take you money. I caught 4 tarpon and missed one or two others.  The first 2 we doubled up on which was awesome, after being exhausted fighting the first one it was time to get the 2nd one in.  It wasn’t 10 minutes after getting back to the spot that the 3rd one drilled the bait and like clockwork, just after that the 4th.  The fish were huge, all 80+ lbs. Also while out we saw sea turtles, sailfish and shark.  There were a handful of other boats spread out in the area and I only saw one of them hookup.  He stayed in good contact w me prior to the trip and the marina he launches from is really nice, with a nice seaside restaurant to grab some food and a drink at before or after going out.  This was my first time there and this was an amazing trip with a knowledgeable captain.  I hope to make it back soon with some friends and will be going back out with Noreaster again!  Nice equipment and Penn reels!  I give the HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!
