- Capt. Robert was born and raised in Oak Island. He runs his charter full-time, as well as being a commercial fisherman. He has a real passion for the ocean and fishing, and has fished from Nags Head to the Florida Keys in the US, as well as the Bahamas and in Mexico. He learned his craft from a number of first-class captains, both charter and commercial. He is a charter member of the “Chips A Hoy” fishing team, as well as a local King Mackerel tournament team. He splits his time spent with them as a captain and a mate. Capt. Robert also has King Mackerel tournament fishing experience, and has taken part in Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. He's participated in many inshore Flounder and Redfish tournaments. He says it best himself: "A day on the water with me will always bring great excitement and memories!!”
