Captain Shawn and his first mate are A1.They take pride in what they do,go out of there way to make you have a great trip.We went out after a northeastern and had eight foot + seas.
he knows his stuff and will help you in anyway he can.
i would rate him and his crew a 12+ out of 10.

Had a great time!  Typical Hatteras weather in the fall.  Booked two (2) days.  Fished the first day, but got blown out the second.  Went with my wife and daughters who enjoy offshore fishing.  As was feared, my wife became sick three (3) hours after we began fishing and I had the captain bring us in shortly thereafter.  In the 3 plus hours we fished we had a nice haul of 15 blackfin tuna to 20+ lbs and a pair of Wahoo in the 25-30 lb class.  Other boats fishing the full day had significantly less fish than what wecaught in our limited time or had a similar amount but the fish were smaller.  The natural baits trolled by the mate of Harper’s Folly were the difference in our success as others boats relied on artificial lures with more limited success.

The Captain and crew were welcoming and helpful.  The boat had plenty of seating.  I would recommend this charter to anyone heading to Hatteras to fish the Gulf Stream.  I look forward to using them again this spring when I return to fish with a group of childhood friends.

The day started slow looking for Wahoo and Mahi-mahi. Neither were out, and none of the other boats in the area were finding any either. Sean was relentless with finding us fish, and pulled through. Close to the end of the trip, he placed us over a school of black fin tuna. Out of no where, all the rods were full and everyone had a blast! I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for off shore fishing.
