Northeast anglers is a small guide operation run by myself Capt. Paul Triolo . My career as a full time guide started in 1990 out of Shinecock NY , and eventually Montauk and Orient points. After my tour of duty as boat coxswain in the Coast guard I settled in Rhode island and started guiding in 2001. Rhode Island is a great fit for my light tackle style. It has a vast variety of fishing bays and inlets, as well as Block Island . As well as the Cape and the Islands.

Half Day Trip (AM) • 3 adultsCaptain Paul was awesome. His boat is comfortable. We caught a load of fish. He’s knowledgeable and easy to talk to and really conscientious. Great guy to spend time on the water with will definitely look him up for next time. Very family friendly, took my teenage son on board and he had a blast and Paul was great w him. I’m sure there’s other wonderful guides out there, but I won’t be calling on anyone but him in the future.

Half Day Trip (AM) • 3 adults • 1 childI really can not say enought about Captian Paul.... It shows how much of a passion he has for fishing, making his clients happy and his love for the water. Myself, my 15yo and my 7yo went out with Captian Paul at 4 a.m. he immediately, schools of striped bass. Everything I hoped would happen happend. I had proud dad syndrome watching white boys pull in 25 and 30 pound fish! Captian Paul was super kind and extremely generous to my children and the experience he could make this to be for them. We had a great time! I would truly so I recommend anyone and everyone with a smaller party to book a trip with Captain paul. I really can't say enough. Thank you Paul! We will see you again soon!!!!!!!!

Bones on the grill! Ripa party spent the morning making shots at Green Bonito then hit the grill for lunch. The AM half day saw another great Bonito show with both anglers casting epoxy jigs on ultralight spinning gear to aggressive surfsce feeds.

Late summer striper bite

Had a great morning with late summer bass and bluefish . Stripers were a mix of sizes from fish in the mid twenties to smaller school
Size slot size fish. Bluefish were bycatch but are always a tough tug.

Last few days has seen nonstop schoolie bass on small swimbaits. These surface feeds have been lasting most of the morning . Fish are in the 5lb to 7lb range & On ultra light spinning gear and 6wt fly rods is huge fun.
