Captain John and his deckhand were great. It was me, my 14-year-old son, and my 16-year-old daughter who have never been on a fishing charter and usually fish off the dock.  We were looking to catch walleye and walleye did we catch. We caught over 13lbs of cleaned walleye to cook for dinner the day after the trip. If you are an amateur fisher and looking to get out on the lake to get the trolling fishing boat experience than H20 charters is a great choice!!!

We had a great afternoon with Captain John and Scottie. We enjoyed the very well maintained boat, and they had us “on the fish” all afternoon! Captain John and Scottie were also great with the kids, patient and educating. Thank you for the great memories!

Booked with Captain John Ware for a perch charter. The lake started out a bit choppy but I’m glad we went with the Captain’s recommendation and made the trip. We limited out with a batch of meaty perch We’re looking forward to booking with John again.

Wonderful experience with Captain John and First Mate Scotty. Both were very knowledgeable and eager to teach us how to help and successfully catch lots of fish. Captain was in constant contact with me leading up to the trip specifically because there was a good chance of heavy rain and storms that day.
