- My dad was a fishing guide in Campbell River when I was a young boy and I have always loved fishing and enjoy sharing my passion with my friends, family, and clients. The West Coast is simply spectacular and nothing beats the adrenaline rush of hooking into a legendary Chinook Salmon or reeling a Halibut or Lingcod up from the depths.
- Techniques
- For salmon fishing we generally troll using our downriggers and various tackle hookups. The lures and set ups we use are a result of years and years of experience and trial and error in our chosen fishing areas. The type of lure/bait we use is dependent upon the area, time of year and the species we are targeting. For bottom fishing we either drift or anchor and jig using bait or specialized lures to hook into delicious halibut or lingcod which live and feed on the ocean floor.
