We got into a school of Mahi Mahi and it was crazy with all the fish, planning, and strategies they the used. We had a great time.

The day was great! What a great experience! Our family had never been on a deep sea fishing trip until today.  We caught a good number of fish, most were tossed back and we ended up keeping only one mahi-mahi. The entire experience we were trolling and we caught several different kinds of fish doing so: mahi, tuna, jacks, and even a barracuda. We started slow and then went through a massive squall. Captain Steve could have turned back, but he said there was better fishing ahead so we went through it fine. My nephew, wha has never trolled got the honor of bringing in the first strike. It was a beautiful sailfish. After that everyone got at least one turn to sit in the fighting chair. Most if our catches were too small, but it was still fun to reel them back in.
