My two sons and I met Captain Bob at 4:30 in the morning and were on the water and fishing in a blink of the eye. He got us on the fish and my two boys were reeling them in one after another. We caught flounder, speckled trout, and red fish. Fighting a bull red to the boat as the sky lightened in the east was an amazing experience. Captain Bob is very knowledgeable and was persistent about getting us to areas of the water where we could catch plenty of speckled trout, even though it was a crowded day on the lake with many boats getting earlier starts than we did. I recommend going with his advice to start the day as early as possible to get ahead of other anglers. Still, we caught our limit of fish for the day!

Captain Bob was a great charter host. He is well experienced at finding the fish, but also great at socializing during a 6 hour trip. The boat was about the minimum size for four people, but it worked pretty good. We caught close to our limit in trout and a slot red. Weather wasn’t perfect but he managed it well enough. Overall, we had a blast and would definitely seek him out for another charter!

Had a good time out on the water! Even though the fish weren’t really biting that day, our guide worked hard to put us on them. We ended up catching two huge redfish and a few speckled trouts. He knew exactly where to go, kept things interesting and made sure we all had what we needed to fish. Can’t say enough about how much effort he put in to make the trip memorable. Excellent Experience. Arrived early to Captain Bob’s house and within minutes on boat and catching fish. We dominated the specks and caught 1 slot red. We couldn’t ask for a better outcome and would highly recommended his guiding services again.
