La Princesa Fishing Trips 

Our fishing trip with Captain Francisco was nothing short of incredible from start to finish! He made the entire experience seamless with his stellar communication and helpful attitude, ensuring everyone on board felt comfortable and ready to reel in a big one. Francisco clearly knows these waters inside and out, guiding us to several distinct fishing spots throughout the day so we could target a wide variety of species. Thanks to his expert guidance, enthusiasm, and top-tier hospitality, we walked away with unforgettable memories and amazing fish! I will 100% be fishing with La Princesa Fishing Trips again.

Today was a beautiful day to be on the water. We fished a reef that he had caught a 70 lb Grouper on the day before. Fishing was slow because we were fishing for quality and not quantity. No Grouper on the first stop but caught several very large Corvina (sea trout), some smaller bait fish, and a couple nice Pargo (snapper). Our second move produced a couple Pargo and small bait fish. Our third stop produced a couple Pargo, one Grouper about 20 lbs, and missed two very good Grouper bites. We had a great day fishing with Francisco and his son Aldo. I would recommend a trip on the Princesa to anyone wanting to enjoy a day of fishing while in Puerto Penasco. Good captain, nice boat , and a good time.

Francisco and his son were a great time. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Booked the trip for myself and 2 sons as something fun to do while in Rocky Point and it did not disappoint. They were helpful in every way. We caught a ton of fish and they cleaned and bagged all the meat right there for us. We will be booking again in a different season to catch other game!

My wife and 3 teens went out with Franscisco today and had the most amazing day. He knew the area so well. We were pulling trigger fish like crazy. He kept the hooks covered in bait and the fish were biting like mad. During the day as we went to other spots we saw dolphins, 2 whales, and even a group of sea lions in the open ocean. Francisco had some burritos for us as well as some waters and juices. At the end of the trip he cleaned the fish and gave us some prep tips. The fillets were put into a zipper bag which made it easy to take to our Air B&B for later frying. This was the most amazing day. I cannot recommend Francisco enough. Thank you!

The ocean was unbelievably calm and the tidal movement was about 18 ft at least. We took a chance and traveled about 13 miles south today. Our hope was to catch quality and not so much quantity. Captain Francisco's plan worked out perfectly. We have been spoiled so many times when fishing on the Princesa . A normal outing is about 60-100 fish a day. Today, by traveling further, was different. The bites were fewer and farther between. Due to the heavy tidal movement, the current was very strong. We were using 6-8 oz of weight in order to reach the bottom. The bites were fewer but the quality was great. We caught a Barred Pargo Snapper, a nice Grouper, a very nice Yellowtail, along with a few Triggers, Rock bass, some junk fish, and one unknown large fish that broke off before we could see it. Captain Francisco is an awesome guide and a good person also. He is extremely knowledged and has years of experience to show you a great fishing trip. I would recommend taking a fishing trip on the Princesa with Captain Francisco whenever you are in the Puerto Penasco area. Thank you so much for a Great day on the water.

We were delayed about an hour this morning, due to heavy fog. It's good to know the Harbor Master is concerned about the safety of everyone. Just because we were delayed made no difference to the fish. From the first drop of our bait in about 150 ft of water, we were catching fish. The ocean was quite calm so we traveled out to the seven mile reef. We caught huge Trigger fish, many rock bass, a couple Pinto bass, a few Corvina, along with a couple other species of fish. We were a group of five people and and fished comfortably without issue. As far as I'm concerned, Capitan Francisco is the best person to go with for a great time and fishing experience. Weather you are a beginner or an experienced fisherman, Captain Francisco and the Princesa is your best chance to have a great day on the water. Thank you for an amazing day.

The ocean was absolutely smooth today. We went 12 miles out since the weather was so nice. Although we went further out in deeper water the fish didn't cooperate like we had hoped. We caught several Trigger Fish, a few Rock Bass, a couple Croakers, and one nice Pinto. After moving several times we finally found a honey hole with numerous Trigger fish. It was every cast until it was time to leave. Even though fishing was a little slow we had a great time on the water. I have fished with Captain Francisco several times and every time is different. There are Great days and Good days but I guarantee that Francisco will do his absolute best effort to put you on fish. He is a great Captain and I would recommend him to anyone wishing to get on the water and catch some fish.

We had a fantastic experience. We caught trigger fish, a red snapper, corvina (spotted sea trout), and a hammerhead shark! We made ceviche and grilled fish for the next three dinners (supporting 4 adults). We will absolutely be back! The captain and his son were fantastic.

My husband, 2 sons, and myself went on Francisco's boat and we caught a ton. Unfortunately, one son and I were sea sick but Francisco and his son helped the other two and they had an absolute blast! Next year, the sick ones will stay home and the other two already plan to book Francisco again! The captains were very knowledgeable and helpful and set us up for success with their expertise.

We had a great time with Aldo on our trip! He brought us right to where the trigger fish were hitting as soon as our bait got into the water! We even caught some grouper! Will definately book with them again!
