We had a marvellous time with Roy’s fishing charter.  Our half-day tour started out with a double-header not five minutes into fishing.  Captain Roy was an excellent guide, making sure we enjoyed our time on the water to the fullest.  We caught our limit of coho, never having dull moment.  Captain Roy is extremely knowledgeable of the area, and is a pleasure to talk to.  We are planning a sequel for sure.  I would highly recommend Roy’s fishing charter.

Roy was very responsible given possible poor weather conditions.  He communicated clearly.  He helped us catch fish, even though we couldn’t keep them due to laws about what types can be kept.  He was very courteous and friendly during the entire trip.  If we could have kept some fish, I’m sure we would have been more excited.

Roy was a very personable and customer-friendly captain. He was very quick to respond to my messages and provided all of the necessary information for the trip. The fishing itself was slow, but we did manage to harvest one salmon. I was a little surprised that we were fishing so close to the city….coming up to Canada, I was expecting a more “natural” experience. I guess you have to go where the fish are! And the best part: we got to try some delicious salmon that evening.

We caught enough wild and hatchery coho that I lost count. Captain Roy is a great guy who knows his stuff. 10/10 would recommend.

We caught a couple of small fish right away. And was slow for the rest of the fishing time. He worked endlessly to get us hooked up. It was a slow day for us and all the boats around. Luckily the traps were a huge success. Seconds time out with Roy and it’s a blast!
