Great experience today with Mike.  It was a slow start but we stuck with it and tried a bunch of different spots and methods and went home with 6 keepers in addition to about 10-15 we threw back in.  Mike worked around some weather issues and gave us some extra time that was much appreciated.  He worked us pretty hard so be prepared to help - all hands on deck!

Mike is very friendly & well prepared. Some cold fronts that have passed through made the fish less cooperative. Mike’s knowledge of Lake Ozark & his skillful use of sonar etc. allowed us to catch fish and make the day fun. In particular, I appreciated Mike balancing the need we had for coaching with his making our trip and our level of success a team effort. We used a variety of tackle and strategies. Mike filleted our catch. We had a great fish fry for supper.

Planned a guys fishing trip with Captain Mike and we brought home easily 40lbs of fish in 5 full gallon bags. From start to finish Captain Mike is a pro who just wants to make sure you have the best experience while keeping you safe. We booked two 6 hour trips on a Friday and Saturday and despite wild weather changes we brought home a haul both days. His both and gear are top notch and he easily fit four larger men. Fished with Mike for a buddy’s bachelor party. Mike was super flexible on the rain. When we caught the good weather window Mike put us on a lot of fish. We caught 3 catfish that were too big to keep which is a nice problem to have. We had a great time and Mike taught us a lot. I would recommend Mike to anyone looking to catch some fish.

Mike was a great teacher to a couple boys with little experience and dealing with experienced anglers as well! Great time, good amount of fish caught too!
