Captain Sean and first mate Jason worked very hard during our trip to enable a memorable experience. Knowledgeable, pleasant and focused, they guided us for some reef fishing, and deep sea fishing. We caught over 20 fish, 3 big barracudas (have to let them go, not eatable), 15+ yellow tail and mutton snappers (kept 13), a large cero mackerel (very tasty!), several remora (sharks were also chasing the yellow tail snappers!) and needle fish that we let go. Our family of 5 were so exited with the chance for a new experience, and we were not disappointed at all. The captain was fun, full of I formation for us; so patient and ready with answers to all of our questions. This was our second trip with Boa Vida Charters. We had a great time and caught several fish. Mike, our captain, made sure we had a wonderful time. He cleaned our fish so we could take it to a local restaurant for them to fix it for us. When we arrived back at the dock, the owners met us to make sure we had no problems getting off the boat, since we took my 83 year old mom out fishing with us. Captain Jason is a solid professional, and knows what he is doing. If the fish are not biting in one area, we went to the next landing a few yellow tails, a couple grouper, and a black tip shark.  The shark steaks were really amazing.  Highly recommend using Boa Vida Charters.
