Boa Vida Charters – Jazmine welcomes you to Key West, Florida, and offers various adventures on the water. A seasoned veteran, Captain Maryann Marinho shares her lifelong passion for fishing with others and, together with her first mate Sean Williams is eager to show you how exciting fishing in the beautiful southern waters can be. Your boat for the day will be a restored 34’ Crusader offshore sportfishing vessel that can fit 6 guests. Running on a 350 HP Caterpillar 3126 engine along with modern navigation electronics, the boat will provide a quick and safe trip to the fish and back. It’s equipped with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and a livewell. The boat has also got a flybridge, toilet, and features an ice-box. For any help you may need, feel free to turn to the first mate.
Some of the prized species you’ll be chasing include Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Yellowtail Snapper, Wahoo, and Sailfish. Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, spin, as well as drift fish. You can keep your catch and you’re welcome to bring kids aboard.
Your captain will provide all the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, licenses, as well as a free catch cleaning service. Before you depart, just bring some snacks and drinks to stay energized during the trip.

3/4 Day Trip
Put us on the fish!
Capt Maryann and First mate Jameson were top notch. Despite the choppy seas offshore to start the morning, we had a double hookup of Mahi pretty quick. They worked together seamlessly to keep us on fish as we trolled the entire trip. We brought home a full box despite a couple of mistakes on my part and one Barracuda (sorry you lost your favorite lure Jameson). At one point during another double hookup, several more Mahi followed up to the boat and that was really fun. I highly recommend this boat and this team. Jameson worked his tail off for us on deck, as did the Captain in finding the fish. We will charter w/them again!

3/4 Day Trip
Above and beyond!!
My family and I arrived the day before and spoke to several people in the marina and found that the fishing had been slow the whole week prior, so we had some idea what we might be in store for…or so we thought. Captain Sean and first mate Woody sat with us and we came up with a game plan that worked to perfection. We booked the 3/4 day trip which allowed us some flexibility on what and where we were going to fish. Before Woody was able to get the second rod in the water captain Sean yelled “FISH ON” and it was like that for most of the day. I’ve been on several charters over the years but have never seen a captain/mate team work like this before. They were on the same page and didn’t skip a beat. It was my son’s first deep sea fishing trip and only my wife’s second. The second half of the trip I found myself sitting back and just enjoying them enjoying this special day. Many memories were made and I would recommend this trip to anyone no matter there experience level. This was our first time chartering Boa Vida, but won’t be our last.

Great birthday fun
Captain Sean and Mike were very accommodating and knowledgeable. They were friendly and patient. They explained to the kids, my husband and I how to go about fishing with the obvious love and respect they have for the skill. We caught mahi-mahi, yellow tail and even a wahoo plus a few others we chose to let go. The crew cleaned and fillet the fish quickly and even prepared some fresh wahoo with soy sauce for us to have right then and there at the dock. Absolutely delicious! We did the 8-hour for my husband’s birthday and we had a great time.

Half Day Trip (AM)
Fantastic fishing trip with my son
My son asked me to take him on a fishing trip where he can catch something tropical before he becomes a first time father in the next few months. We decided to come to Key West and chose this charter because of other reviews. We were not disappointed as we caught the max limit of Mahi, a couple of Ahi, and a Barracuda. The owners and staff are great to work with, everything was easy and smooth. I highly recommend this charter if you are visiting Key West.
