I took this charter with Capt. Rich partly because I wanted to learn as much as possible about salmon fishing Lake Ontario, as well as catch some salmon. Thanks to Capt. Rich I did! He was very generous in showing me and explaining all the different gear & tackle and techniques we used. We also did catch fish, but unfortunately didn’t land any, but I don’t blame him for that. Note: I didn’t have access to the “head” as I thought I would, so you might want to check on that beforehand.

My wife and I went out fishing with Captain Rich on June 16, 2018, to catch king salmon out of Oswego, NY.  Capt. Rich knows his stuff and put us into fish in no time.  He was a pleasure to work with and put in a lot of hard work to find the salmon and bring them into the boat.  We both caught 15+ pound kings and a number of smaller ones.  A really great experience we will cherish for years to come.  Dick I Raleigh , NC
