- I decided to become a Charter Boat Captain initially to achieve a life long goal of earning my Captains License. I’ve been been a fisherman since I was just a boy and it is my sport of choice. Although running the Charter is not (yet) my full time job it is a job that I truly enjoy. I have been fishing on Lake Erie and other Ohio lakes for over 30 years and I am always excited to be out on the water with friends, family and guests.
