Great day on the water.  Chad was very knowledgeable of not only the species we were after but shared information that will help me on future fishing adventures for other fish found in the river. We caught lots of shad. Chad could not have been more helpful in insuring that my wife and I had a wonderful experience.

Had an incredible day with Southern Sun Guides today.  The boat was well equipped for a day on the water.  We had an early start to our half day of fishing and Chad put us on fish right away.  We caught fish all day.  We caught 58 total fish today including 5 shad and one blue cat fish.  Chad was an excellent guide and took excellent care of us today.  I would highly recommend him as a guide.  We will definitely use him again when fishing for rockfish.

Great time with Chad.  First time going to Roanoke River and fishing for rockfish.  I would highly recommend.

Got more than we expected. Chad put us on the fish right away. We started catching rock fish from the first cast. We kept 5 nice ones to take home but we caught many more. He also took us on a tour of the river and he knew his way around. You have to know what you are doing in that river and he does. He even rescued some Fisher men who got stuck in the rocks.
