The fishing trip was ok. It was my first deep water experience.  We didn’t catch what we thought we would as far as different types and we had to cut short because of the rain that came in. Overall, not bad for first try.

Capt MacDonald was awesome. The fishing trip was excellent due largely to his exceptional knowledge of the fishing spots in the Gulf. With a bit of coaching from the Captain, we pulled 33 fish in about 2-ish hours (11 Mangrove Snappers, 22 Lane Snappers). It was an awesome trip and I would opt for a full day on the water knowing what I know now. The boat is in excellent shape and runs well. The toilet was very clean and in good working order. Where to begin. A 5-Star Rating doesn’t even justify how amazing this experience was. Captain Lewis is a professional. He’s fun, knowledgeable, personable, exceeded our expectations, and made our fishing trip one that will never be forgotten. Our seven year old son hasn’t stopped talking about it. Captain Lewis was fantastic, ten year grandson was on 1st fishing trip. Captain answered all his questions and gave him tips. Grandson wound in all the fish we hooked. caght lots of snapper and grouper several tossed back (under size) but brought back 30 snapper filets and 2 big grouper filets.

Perfect weather today. We caught lots of snapper and there was plenty of space for everyone on the boat. We caught a few grouper but unfortunately they were too small to keep. Captain Macdonald was great and super helpful to our group which had mixed experience levels. We will definitely be back.
