Hello Anglers! Captain Dylan here with A.F Sportfishing, I wanted to give an update on our operations and recent fishing activity! We have been staying busy with our winter schedule of half day and 3/4 day fishing trips. Rockfish, lingcod, bass, halibut, sharks, rays just to name a few have been being brought up from the depths from our very happy anglers recently. Our recent half days in the bay have seen extremely good halibut fishing, with our last trip totalling 51 halibut caught and released and 3 kept for the dinner table! Our 3/4 days have been fishing some great rockfish, lingcod and other bottom species spots down in mexican waters! We will be fishing and booking trips through the winter into next year! Get some layers on, your favorite jacket and come catch some fish! Prices have dropped and the fish are biting. Dont let the cold keep you in!

On our last week of trips, our ocean has developed an amazing amount of yellowtail in our offshore waters! The yellowtail fishing has been the best of the whole year. We are expecting to ride this out and fish these things as far into the rest of the year as we can! Come get on an offshore fishing trip and catch your share of these beautiful fish!

These last few weeks of trips have been nothing short of incredible. We have been targetting Bluefin tuna ranging in all sorts of sizes. Fish from 15 pounds to 250 pounds have been caught. This week we spent more time fishing 15-50 pound grade fish. Almost everyday this week we finished our trip early with limits of bluefin tuna. Incredible stops fishing with live bait and lures. We even caught our first yellowfin of the season. Fishing is getting better and better daily and we are excited to see what comes our way. We have availabilty throughout July, August and September so get on it while its hot!

Our first few trips of 2021 after a long winter of boat work and upgrades to our vessel travelled offshore in search of bluefin tuna and yellowtail. A few kelps for the mornings started us with some kelp grade yellowtail action and into the afternoons we found small areas of scattered bluefin tuna. Some of the schools were quite large. Its started already and we are fishing. Come fish with us. Open dates throughout the rest of the season!
