Met up with Captain Jeff at the marina to start our day bright and early. His boat is nice, clean, and organized. His honesty up front that it has been tough fishing the week or so was appreciated. Jeff and Jose are absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. They were fully prepared based on the notes I sent about wanting to keep some of the fish and the specific species I hoped to catch. I was a bit anxious about how I’d store and travel home with the fish, but Jeff had everything handled before I even asked. The Captin and crew were great. Worked hard all day to get you on fish! Caught great sailfish and celebrated with cerveza’s. The Captin is very passionate on doing the best job possible. The deck hand Jose worked hard also all day long to make the trip enjoyable. If you were like me and hoping to book a great trip without ever being to Costa Rica I would highly recommend the Bucket List!

The bite was a little slower inland over the past couple of days so Jeff rolled the dice and took us out deep to search for a school of Tuna. Found one around lunch and landed two nice sized yellowfin. Later in the day we caught a Mahi and a nice sized Sailfish. Glad Jeff went with his gut and took us out deep!
