We stayed in the shallow and didn’t catch anything but a catfish. Only thing kid friendly about it was it was only 3 hours long. My son hated it. I could still even hardly attempts fish because I was trying to entertain our son. We went to the dock the next day and caught more fish than paying 500 for the 3 hour fishing trip. Definitely a waste of money. The caption was friendly enough but honestly he should have just canceled the trip since he said the water was to “choppy”to get out in the gulf. I definitely wouldn’t recommend wasting money on it. Definitely not the experience we were wanting.

4 hour fishing trip . My experience you can decide for yourself
First time for me and my 14 year old daughter. I let the captain know before hand this would be mine and my daughters first time deep sea fishing.
I was excited to take my daughter and was hoping for the best .  What we experienced . The boat was small so I would not recommend for many people not many places to sit.
There was alo of driving and we did go to alot of different areas but we did not catch anything.
On one of the last stops the captain yelled out- “JUST LETTING YOU KNOW I’M TAKING A LEAK” .My daughter and I were both surprised he was peeing off the back of the boat .  That was my experience you can decide for yourself if this is for you.
