Captain William, First Mate Murray and Sam the golden retriever were all fantastic.  Captain William and Murray each took the time to help my two sons, my wife and me.  He kept us on the hot spots and we had a blast reeling them in.  The Red Snapper were biting and we sadly had to throw them back.  We caught a bunch of vermillion snapper, a cobia and almaco jack and cant wait to cook them up.  The whole experience was awesome and I will absolutely book Captain William again when we return. ... We absolutely enjoyed the evening fishing with Captain William. We booked an inshore fishing trip and we had a great time. We caught a bunch of catfish and almost got a huge fish in the boat but it broke the line. What a fight and it was so much fun. Capt put us right on the fish . First fish the bait didn’t even make it to the bottom before a 30ib Jack was on the hook. Got him to the surface and he was shark bait.  Took 2 bites out but we still limited out with Jack. We took over 100ib of fish.  Thanks Will for the experience and thank you for your service. Had a great morning on the water with Captain Eric! He’s a very welcoming and friendly guy.  He took us to several fishing spots where we caught a variety of fish.  My husband brought in a Bonita, which we used for bait.  We brought home trout and whiting, which they cleaned for us.  We also hooked two sharks, but they broke the lines.  Highly recommend this trip!

We had a great afternoon, the water was a little too rough to venture out into open waters but Captain William made sure we had a great time!! We caught some fish and loved being out in the boat! We made some great memories and my kids won’t stop talking about his first mate, Sam, the golden retriever! We would definitely book with Down South Fishing Company again!
