Captain Adam is really the best. He is friendly, a great conversationalist, and extremely knowledgeable about the area, the fish, and the regulations for fishing. He keeps an extremely tidy boat, and fileted our catch efficiently, cleanly, and extremely tidily. He wastes no time whatsoever in getting lines in the water, is so on top of what’s going on with everyone’s lines, seeing “fish on” before you do, and is ready to help novice fishermen do their thing. We caught our limit of Bonita and then went for deeper fish and caught a few whitefish, and one sheephead (that was too small to keep), with a little bit of luck—but certainly not due to anything Captain Adam was doing. He’s amazing and made the experience fun and engaging.
A highlight of the (in addition to the full-service experience and attentive and knowledgeable support) was the moment Captain Adam called to a bald eagle and threw him a fish, only to watch this incredible bird swoop down and retrieve it from an eager seagull and fly away with it. It was such an incredibly cool moment that we didn’t even have the wherewithal to get a photo or video.
Truly, I would recommend Memory Maker and Captain Adam to anyone!

Captain Adam hosted me and my young adult son for a half day of fishing along the Catalina coast. We caught plenty of fish, half of which we kept for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. The captain was a patient and enthusiastic instructor/guide, and the boat was immaculate. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had a great time out with Capt Adam this morning. We mixed in some trolling on the way out with a few hours of bottom and fishing and casting for bonito and bass. Resulted of lots of fish on the boat and lots of laughs. Highly recommend!
