Fish were not cooperating as much as desired, and I am quite certain that my novice experience did not help my ability to bring fish in but still caught my personal best - 3lb LMB.  Jimmie did land an 8lb hog which was fun to watch.  Jimmie was great and I had a really good time.  Very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to.  I learned a lot on this trip.  I will definitely use Jimmie again and I highly recommend him as a guide.  Had a great time on Lake Fork!

We had a wonderful fishing experience w JDR. The captain was VERY knowledgeable, kind, and fun! My kids and I learned some really cool things about freshwater fishing, seasons of fishing, tournaments, and much more. We are already planning our return for spring. We went with one of Jimmy’s colleagues because Jimmy was sick. The fish were shut off, which seemed to be the case for everyone. Not much you can do when you are hitting the fish in the head on the livescope and they still won’t bite. We talked with five different guides and it sounds like we caught the most fish. If you are looking to actually catch some fish!! I mean a lot of fish…Bryce is your man!! he was knowledgeable, and was very friendly! we had a great time, enjoyed hanging out with him! we ended up with 100 catfish fillets, and 40 crappie fillets… (got tired of fishing!) lol.
