JDR Fishing Adventures and Captain Jimmy Reardon invite you for a memorable angling experience in Texas. Set sail out of Alba and explore Lake Fork and nearby lakes. All of them provide plenty of fishing opportunities as well as beautiful natural scenery to admire. Join Captain Jimmy and have a relaxing fishing trip on a lake.
Your journey will start on a 22' Ranger bass boat that can sit up to 4 anglers. It's powered by a 250 HP Mercury V8 engine with a maximum cruising speed of 65 knots. The boat uses a livescope system for efficient locating the fish and is equipped with a livewell to supply you with live bait.
The two lake beauties that you'll be targeting are Largemouth Bass and Crappie. Using light tackle, you and Captain Jimmy will catch them by spinning or baitcasting reel. Kids are more than welcome to join the trip, they will love being in nature and the atmosphere will be much more fun with them around. You can decide whether you want to keep your catch or release it back into the water.
The captain will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures. At the end of the trip, he'll clean and fillet your catch so it's ready for cooking when you get back home. What you should bring to your trip is fishing licenses, some food, and drinks.

This is my 3rd drip with Jimmy with brining some of my co-workers along. They all 3 had a blast and we caught Tons of crappie and bonus fish! We talked about or weekend fishing trip at work and new i have even more co-workers that are interested in coming out to lake Fort To fish. We will be booking again soon. Thanks for the great time. Captain Jimmy is a very knowledgable Lake Fork fisherman. He put us on some big fish and caught several largemouth bass and a catfish on a hot August morning when the fish were lazy. We had a great time! Thank you!

The trip was to start at 7AM but Jimmy knew the morning bite needed an earlier start, as well as beat the other early boats off the boat ramp. So we met at 5:50AM to be the first boat on the lake and sure enough, best part of trip was that first hour. Jimmy kept the bites coming by taking us to several inlets then switching to deeper water. We greatly appreciated Jimmy’s guide knowledge and look forward to Spring lunker fishing!

Jimmy was a down to earth, knowledgeable captain that was very relatable and down to earth. As this was our first time on lake fork we wanted to get an understanding of the water and ways to navigate around. Jimmy helped answer any questions we had. Caught some fish, missed some fish. We live to try again! All in all a great day!

Fish were not cooperating as much as desired, and I am quite certain that my novice experience did not help my ability to bring fish in but still caught my personal best - 3lb LMB. Jimmie did land an 8lb hog which was fun to watch. Jimmie was great and I had a really good time. Very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to. I learned a lot on this trip. I will definitely use Jimmie again and I highly recommend him as a guide. Had a great time on Lake Fork!

Captain Jimmy grew up in southern California mainly fishing salt water. He moved to Texas when he was 15 and got into competitive Bass as well as Crappie fishing. He has spent the last 9 years mastering Lake Fork as well as the surrounding lakes.
