The boys caught 2 catfish and a few crappy. They were all smiles when I picked them up at the boat dock! Dieter was excellent and gave them a fishing trip they will remember for a long time! This was a birthday gift for my 15 year old and 17 year old boys. They were able to learn more about fishing and tips for catfishing!        

Awesome trip!  I took my 12-year-old son out on Lake Wylie for his birthday and we both had a great time!  Captain Dieter was a ton of fun to hang out with.  He knows his stuff, answered all of our “rookie” questions, and is an excellent conversationalist to boot!!  A++!!!  I highly recommend.  We’ll definitely be back!

Capt Dieter did a great job of getting all 3 of us in our party to catch blue catfish, perch and crappie! Had a great morning trip on Lake Wylie in late February. The next time I am in the area I will book another trip with Dieter Melhorn

The guide was excellent, the fishing was fabulous. We put 16 catfish in the boat. Four were over ten pounds and two were right at 20 pounds. We highly recommend this guide!!!! You will have a great day on the water with him.  We did and will be back.

Dieter is an excellent captain and guide. He is knowledgeable and fun to visit with. He put us on a huge number of fish, including a 17 lb blue! We asked for numbers, not size, and he absolutely delivered! I highly recommend this guy!
