I rented a few hours out with him for me and my family to do some fishing. The experience was wonderful as he brought us to two of his fishing spots and taught us how to catch a fish. My kids even ended up catching a trout and 2 massive redfish with one of them being around 25 ft! The captain himself was also really nice and fun to talk to! He also educated us on the areas and the fish. Tldr: very fun, very educational, 10/10, would go again.

Besides catching a 150lb tarpon, the captain absolutely made this experience. Not only was he full of information to the point where I left a better fisherman, but he was entertaining even while waiting for that sneaky tarpon. Captain Michael was awesome! We did the 2 hour quick trip with my 9 and 12 year old sons. We caught 2 big redfish that were keepers. The kids had a great time. Michael was great with them. He answered all their questions and educated us on the surrounding area and wildlife. He even took the time to cruise around to find dolphins for us. He also cleaned our fish and recommended a restaurant that would cook them. Will definitely book Down Home again if in the St Pete area!

Had a great day fishing with captain Michael. He was on time and well prepared. Michael was patient with us fishing newbies, has great knowledge of the areas and skill. We caught two red snapper and a trout in our outing.
