Great crew. Had us on fish at first stop. Pulled in 30 there and then limited out at 40. Caught at least another 25 that were released. Hit multiple spots and had fish on at everyone. We had booked for a Monday and Captain J contacted us to suggest we change to a different day due to weather and sea conditions forecast, so we picked Wednesday which turned out to be a beautiful day just as he predicted it would be. Great coaching, the whole family was rippin lips.

We quickly caught our mingo limit last year, and went after amberjack.  We continously got sharked, but had a great time fighting 10 footer for about an hour.  Didn’t hesitate to head back out with Capt. Jay this year.  He got us on fish, and in the midst of an AJ frenzy, prolonged our trip to make sure we caught fish and had a good experience!  That kind of service is what will keep us and plenty more people repeatedly booking!  Great job and thank you, Jason!! Captain Jay and deckhand Drew were great. Very knowledgeable and personable to talk to. Captain Jay got on the fish and we caught what would bite.  Kids loved being out on the water and seeing everything. Will definitely be back for a longer trip in the gulf.

Great people to go fishing with! We caught so many fish that were various species. They were kind enough to reschedule us due to high winds, most people wouldn’t be able to do so. It was greatly appreciated and it was such a fun and eventful trip!

Captain Jason and his deck hand were very accommodating to us. He was able to take us out by rescheduling our trip the next day due to weather. The remnants of Hurricane Francine was still in the area and turned our off shore 5 hour trip into a three hour trolling trip in the bay. Capt Jason communicated well with us regarding conditions and safety. We erred on the side of caution.
We didn’t catch many fish trolling and that was a bit disappointing. We also ended our trip early opting to go in as opposed to weathering an approaching thunderstorm.
I will say that paying full price for a 5 hour off shore trip to only troll the bay for 3 hours was a bit excessive in my opinion and while I completely understand the weather can be unpredictable I also believe it works both ways.
Do I think in optimal conditions we would have been more successful? Absolutely!  Captain Jason was knowledgeable and practiced safety first and that’s important. 
Would I charter with him again? Yes I believe I would enjoy a fulll day with Jason. He had a good sense of humor and good intentions.
Let’s chalk up this experience to Hurricane Francine.
