I truly can’t say enough good things about Captain Pierre and our amazing day with Rising Sun Fishing Charter. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations, from the quality of the boat and gear to the personalized attention we received throughout the trip.

Captain Pierre is incredibly friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, the kind of person who instantly puts you at ease and makes the entire experience more enjoyable. He worked with us to reschedule when we had a conflict and was extremely accommodating, which we really appreciated.

The boat was spotless, the rods and reels were solid, and every detail was clearly handled with care and professionalism. Whether we needed help baiting hooks, casting lines, or netting a catch, Captain Pierre was right there, always encouraging and always patient. Seeing a dolphin was an added bonus!

This trip was well worth the money, in fact, for the level of service and experience we had, it should probably cost more. We’ll absolutely be booking again next year and are already looking forward to it.

We booked a trip with Rising Sun Charters and Captain Pierre for my dad’s birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. Within 10 minutes, someone had already landed the first fish—and the action didn’t stop. By the end, we caught 9 big red drums, all solid size.

Captain Pierre made the day even better. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and kept the vibes relaxed and fun the entire time. He really knows how to make everyone feel welcome, whether you’re an experienced angler or just out for a good time.

My partner, myself and our 18 yr old son and nephew had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Pierre for the first time and had an awesome experience! The boat was in great shape and completely spotless. Our excursion ran perfectly smooth from where to park our car through recommendations as to a place to cook our fish! Pierre was friendly, inclusive and overall good company. He went out of his way to engage with our teens and make us feel like we were hanging out with an old friend. All around an awesome day on the water!

Captain Pierre is the most kind and helpful captain i have ever had the pleasure to meet. He goes above and beyond his call of duty to make your trip as successful as possible. He always knows where the best fish are located and has really helped us pull in some big fish. I highly recommend calling and booking an outing with him. He is really awesome

Y’all, we had the best time as a family fishing with Captain Pierre.  Our 11-year-old son chose this trip as his gift to celebrate going into middle school. Captain Pierre knew this and he did not disappoint. He cared so much about making sure that our son caught some fish. He was very patient and always there with a helping hand. We did a short 2-hour trip but we loved every minute of it. This was very relaxing and lots of fun! Definitely recommend and we will be back.
