  10 Hour Trip – Blue Water on August 24, 2026 • 2 adults

  I’ve been on guided trips before so this isn’t new. What I noticed was how organized and clean the boat was. That makes a difference in how easy and safe it is to get around on it and for the crew to assist you. Second, these boats are never comfortable, usually a padded cooler to sit on at best and if you’re like me at 56, it wears you down being jarred across choppy waters. These guys have beanbags to sit on. I literally wasted at least 2 hours while my son fished, napping. I was tired to begin with but the actual amount of fish caught meant that for a couple hours, it seemed like every time I dropped the line in the water, I immediately caught one or two fish. As in immediately. No exaggeration. Of course due to slot limits and the law, we threw back 3 out of four fish landed, but I now have a blister on my palm and soreness in my back and shoulder from cranking the reel handle most of the day. We still ended up with a stupid amount of fish to bring home. I’d book these guys again.

  omg!! awesome trip

  this was a trip we have talked ahout before. we did the 8 hr trip!! our captain and 1st mate were awesome. they enertained us. they did so great helping us with the fishing. tried to make sure we got what fishes we wanted to catch. would defintely do this with this captain again!!! this is the best charter next time will use them again but will bring some little fans. but that isnt anything they could help with.

  8 Hr Texas Waters Trip on March 29, 2026 • 5 adults

  Captain marshall was very entertaining. Got us on top of the fish. Whole crew had a good time. no complaints. boat was plenty big enough for the five of us. Anglers new and old will enjoy captain Marshall. experience or not, captain will get you were you need to be. make sure to get the extra red drum tag, you’ll need it!

  Great day in the Gulf

  10 Hour Trip – Blue Water on April 25, 2026 • 3 adults

  had a great experience. 3 generations on the boat with little to no experience fishing from a boat. Captain Marshall was excellent in getting everyone comfortable put us on fish. Overall had a great experience and would recommend CaptainMarshall for anyone looking to book a trip out of Freeport.

  10 Hour Trip – Blue Water on July 28, 2026 • 6 adults • 2 children

  Caught our limit in red snapper, lots of mahi, got into the kingfish, and topped it off with a hammerhead shark that we got to pet before releasing! Captain Marshall and deckhand Sam were great at taking care of our group, including the 8 and 13 year olds.
