0 fish caught had 4 bites, bad weather 3 days prior,to trip.

I took my 17-yr old daughter and 12-yr old son out on the Midnight run the day before school started.  We took off at 4:45 am.  My son had never been out on Lake Michigan before so I was hoping to get him hooked up with a nice King to test his arm strength.  It was a bit slow at first, but then a downrigger went off.  He was able to reel in a 24 pound 11 ounce king salmon for his first fish!  In addition, there was a shaker king salmon on the slider with it - so two fish on one line!  I had never seen that before and neither did Captain Jeff.

Jeff and Jake worked to get us hooked up and into fish.  We ended up with seven fish caught during our five-hour trip: 6 kings and one, fat coho salmon.  We were tickled with results and made some great family memories.  Thanks to Midnight Run for putting us on the fish!

5 hour morning trip with Captain Jeff and 1st Mate Tim. Fishing was tuff but Jeff and Tim tried multiple baits and areas to put us on fish. Captain Jeff even extended our trip due to slow bight and we ended up with six fish on a slow bite day. Would highly recommend Midnight Charters, they will do everything they can to get you fish!!! Thanks again Captain Jeff and 1st Mate Tim!!!

Had a great time. Captain and crew were very accommodating to my family. Even encouraged one of our party through motion sickness. Everyone in our party had a chance to catch a fish. Apparently others on the lake that day were not having the same luck. Would definitely go again.

It was hard to find someone to take us out on this beautiful crisp Sept. 24, but Captain Jeff and First mate Tim did. They tried everything and we caught 2 rainbow trout. They were kind and helpful to an ailing, seasick customer. We had a great time though we wish we had caught .ore fish. When we got back to Algoma, the Midnight Run was taken out of the water. Glad we were the last voyage!
