Captain Jeff called a couple of days prior to the trip to report that fishing was way down in prior week and water was pretty rough this week so not many boats were going out.  Of those that went out, getting 2 fish in a trip was high, and according to weather reports the day of our trip could be pretty rough.  Wanted to let us know the situation so we could cancel if we wanted.  We appreciate his honesty and did end up canceling.  We will be rebooking with him for our next trip when we can... Weather was rough but guys did their best. Worked hard to keep stuff untangled. We had a few sick people as it was quite wavy but we caught some fish and guys were great. Ken was awesome help! He was just helping jeff for afternoon and did great. I will go with them again on hopefully calmer seas! Best wishes

We took a 4am - 10am charter with Jeff and Alex. The water was as calm as I’ve ever seen on Lake Michigan. The fish were biting great right away in the morning and slowed down considerably once the sun came up, so next time we might even try a little earlier trip. We ended up with 5 fish, but we had probably a dozen bites. Jeff and Alex did a great job and were very friendly to work with! We’ll be back in the future!

Great morning trip with Jeff and crew.  Laughs and jokes all morning, like we had known each other for years. They went above and beyond to make sure we stayed on fish.  Don’t look any further if you want a great experience on the water.
