Skipper Mick and her Husband Skipper Neil have been running charter fishing boats for 30 years in the UK. As a couple, they have fished all round the world and have have a passion for big game. Two years ago we packed up our fishing business in UK to fulfill their dream of running their own charter business. Skipper Mick invites you to join her on memorable fishing trips in Calheta in Portugal. She's a seasoned fisherman and cordial skipper who'll take you to the best spots in the area and share all his knowledge and skills to make your fishing experience the best possible.

    Half Day – Big Game Fishing (AM) • 3 adults • 1 child

    Neil and Micky were a treat to fish with. We had 2 half days of fishing. The first day we spent 2 hours on the water and the wind was blowing too hard so we called it quits and Neil was generous enough to give us another try on a different day. Day 1 The waters were flat calm. We had just a bit of time left in the day and we hooked into a great 40-50lb Wahoo. My first! Coninued and and my son caught his first Mackeral. Day 2 started off hot with my son catching a 10lb Tuna less than an hour in. His first! Boated beside a boat that was fighting a 700lb Blue Marlin. WOW! We had a beautiful spread of big marlin lures but it wasnt meant to be for us. Micky was great, Neil was great. Recommend fishing with this couple. Our first trip to Madeira and forever memories enjoyed by us all. Thank you guys and hope to see you soon!

    Amazing experience

    Full Day Trip – Big Game Fishing • 4 adults

    We had an amazing day on the water! We caught two fantastic fish—a large wahoo and a beautiful mahi-mahi (dorado). We also had another strike, probably from a tuna, but unfortunately we couldn't land it. Neil and Mick were both incredibly friendly, professional, and hardworking. They did everything they could to make sure we had a great experience and put us on the fish. (Mike's briefing before we left the marina was first-class. He clearly explained everything, demonstrating outstanding knowledge, experience, and professionalism). I will definitely book another trip on the Flipper II. Highly recommended!

    🎣 Incredible Day on the Water - Highly Recommend!

    Full Day Trip – Big Game Fishing • 2 adults

    Absolutely terrific day out on the water! 🎣 Skippers Micky and Neil were both incredibly friendly and an absolute pleasure to spend the day out on the water with. My wife and I were stoked to catch our first ever Mahi Mahi at the same time, along with multiple tuna throughout the day! Unfortunately, we missed out on a nice Wahoo, but that’s fishing! 😂 Overall, we couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough. If we had more days available, I would have definitely booked another charter! 🤙

    Great Skipper and crew!

    Evening Tuna Fishing Trip • 1 adult

    I would absolutely book another charter with this Skipper. She promptly answered all messages and provided updated recommendations to improve my chances of catching the trophy fish I was looking for before the trip. During the trip, she provided insights about the island and its local culture and also gave me some good information I could use for the next time I booked a charter on the island. While I did not catch any fishes on my charter. I’m planning on coming back to the island for another try at catching my trophy fish. When I do, Skipper Mick will be my first choice for a charter.

    Great trip, almost caught a big one!

    Half Day Mixed Fishing am • 4 adults • 2 children

    Did a half day with some trolling and bottom fishing with captain Neil and Micky. Got Mahi on the line but he shook free. Caught some trigger and dorado for lunch. Crew was great with my boys, if you can get on their boat (very busy schedule), I’d highly recommend them! Sorry again to Steve, my son caught him with a hook😬

Family Fun at sea We enjoyed the company of Lex and his family for a couple of half day trips this week. We managed to het Lex a cracking wahoo and young carter started his big game career with a small tuna and some mackrel. We look forward to seeing them again for a bill fish.
