    Great Fun!

    Half Day Trip (AM)2 adults

Jeff was very knowledgeable about fishing for all types of fish. We moved when things were slow. He's a great conversationalist and he even took us to one of the island beaches. We had a great time and will return in the fall.

Early march redfish and trout

Mar 9, 2026 • Carrabelle
It's definitely feeling like spring on the forgotten coast, air and water temps are up. Spent a nice afternoon with Troy and Diane doing some catch and release fishing. Several redfish on the small side and some nice big trout, all on lures and Diane got one big trout on fly, a chartreuse and white clouser minnow. Best lures of the day where chartreuse paddle tails and the old reliable gold spoon!

More action heading into April

Mar 7, 2026 • Carrabelle
The weather has been perfect for inshore fishing around carrabelle, some nice catches of redfish and trout mostly on soft plastics and jigs. Had a great day with Ben and Coop. Seeing lots of sealife on the grass flats, rays and turtles and LOTs of mullet!

Fall fishing in carrabelle

Fishing inshore has been great for redfish and trout, the fall fishing will continue through November. Pics of Alex and Nicole on their anniversary fishing trip!

Redfish and trout on the flats.

Sep 21, 2025 • Carrabelle
Fishing this week has been good targeting redfish and trout using Berkeley gulp on a jighead below a popping cork and gold spoons. Targeting sand holes on the grass flats and edges in the two to three foot range has been producing target species plus small sharks, bluefish, sea bass and other hard pulling fish. Finding trout back up in the shallows is a good sign fall is coming. The best fishing of the year is coming up in the next couple of months!

Late march redfish and speckled trout

Mar 28, 2025 • Carrabelle
March is the month here in carrabelle when the fishing starts to get going, good catches of trout and redfish, the trout have been a bit scattered, but many good sized fish caught, many oversized released. Covering the flats casting soft plastic paddle tails below corks has been effective. Chartreuse and electric chicken colors are my favorite. Looking for mullet activity on the flats is a good indicator for reds. Ran into some Spanish mackerel, always fun on light tackle. Lots of dolphin and sea turtles around, from the water is the best view of carrabelle and the forgotten coast!

Cool mornings and hot inshore bite

Oct 12, 2024 • Carrabelle
4 hour charter this morning, was a really good bite, lots of trout action. Got a limit of trout pretty quick, then went after reds. Couple of drifts across the flats produced 6 reds. Everything was caught on popping corks and jigs. Definitely feels like fall with cool mornings and good fishing
