You'll be fishing on an 18' Sea chaser that accommodates up to 2 guests. This flats boat is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and reaches the speed of 30 knots. Besides safety gear, the boat has GPS, a fishfinder, a live bait tank, and a cooler. Offering a safe and reliable ride, the vessel will take you to your fishing spot in no time.
Whether you prefer light tackle spinning or flyfishing There's lots of species you can catch this way, from Redfish, Tarpon, and Tripletail, to Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and Spotted Trout. After the trip, the captain will clean and fillet your catch free of charge, so you can bring a cooler if you're saving the meat for later, or go straight to a nearby restaurant.
All fishing equipment is included in the price, as well as licenses. Captain Jeff has been selling flies and custom fishing tackle for decades, so he knows what's the best equipment out there. All of this will be ready on the boat. You only need to pack some snacks, drinks, and sunblock.

We had such a great time on his boat with him and he's such a knowledgeable man. Not only did we fish until our hearts was content but he also took us to Dog Island, you can only get there by boat, and we did some swimming and shell searching. Such a beautiful location. And to top it off... I caught several sharks. I had always wanted to catch a shark... & pet it... & I did just that. 🦈 🫷 And the fish we caught, Jeff fillet them for us and we cooked them for dinner.. Mine and my boyfriend's expectations was beyond met with this Captain! And we are already planning our next trip to Carabelle and we will most definitely be booking Captain Jeff again!! If you are unsure of who to book for a charter - book this Captain!! You will not regret it!! 💯 Thank you Jeff for such a fun and memorable time. Can't wait to do it again!

We’re from Ohio so we never get to do anything like this and it was a fun experience for both of them and they enjoyed Jeff’s company as well as his knowledge. He even spent extra time with us to help filet the fish that were caught. Super friendly guy who knows what he’s doing. Must have a lot of patience to deal with my little dude too! We would definitely do this again if we’re down here in the future. 10/10 recommend booking with Jeff!

I will definitely be using Captain Jeff in the future any time I am in the Saint George Island area. We caught plenty of fish and the Captain took care of everything.

Jeff was very knowledgeable about fishing for all types of fish. We moved when things were slow. He's a great conversationalist and he even took us to one of the island beaches. We had a great time and will return in the fall.
Captain Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and made the entire experience enjoyable. We asked his so many questions about fishing, bait, etc and he answered all of them with no complaints. We would most definitely book with him again!

Captain Jeff is a lifelong avid angler, U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. Originally from Alaska, he started guiding fly-fishers and anglers on Kodiak island in 1999. Jeff has lived in Florida since 2005. He fished in Southwest Florida out of Matlacha for several years before settling down on the forgotten coast. He's been tying and selling flies for over 25 years and will provide all the flies and lures you will need for your trip.
