We booked this charter fishing trip with Captain Joe with great expectations. He met and exceeded our expectations for a day of fun, catching some fish, and enjoying being off the coast of Maine. We caught a boatload of fish, visited seals and enjoyed getting to know about our Captain. It was a birthday gift to Rye and he had a blast!

We’ll be back for Striper fishing soon! Our entire family wishes we could give him 10 stars but 5 will have to do for now. Thanks again Captain Joe!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with this fishing charter! From start to finish, everything was seamless and fun. Captain Joe was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. We caught some amazing fish and made memories we’ll never forget. Highly recommend!!! We will definitely be booking again!

Joe took me and my 3 grandchildren (ages 7, 7 and 9) out for a great morning of fishing and learning about oysters, crabs and lobsters. The look on my grandkids faces said it all when they brought up 3 fish at a time. Can’t wait till next year to try again to land a big striped bass.

Today was a day I’ll never forget! I have to start by saying Captain Joe is very punctual and his response time to any messages I sent him was A++ to say the least! Also I noticed the weather on the day we booked wasn’t as great as the day before was going to be and asked if we could switch days as it was open and available and he made that happen quickly and easily.
The day on the water was great for my 81 year old grandfather, dad and myself. Captain Joe made it very comfortable on the boat and was very attentive to each of us taking the fish off the hooks quickly and also casting the live baited lines back out there for us over and over! We had to of caught over 50-60 mackerel which are a blast on the mackerel trees, 4-6 cod, 6-8 pollock, 3 Cunner, 1 Stripper and also came home with 3 lobsters!!
The day flew by and my grandfather and father both looked at me and said they had a great time and was impressed with how great Captain Joe helped them today! Whenever I go out on a charter again in the future it will always be with Captain Joe not one thing bad to say about today!!

We did the aquaculture experience where the kids fished, went crabbing and learned about oysters. Our start was originally 11:30am but the rain pushed it to a 1pm start. Joe was really communicative and flexible working with us as we were only in town that day.

We had a 13yo boy and 10yo girl. Both are enthusiastic in general but Joe made it an even better experience. From the moment we got on the boat he answered questions and when we stopped at our first fishing spot we immediately started catching mackerel, sometimes 4 or 5 at a time!

The mackerel were to be used for the crab traps, which we made our way to and caught dozens. But the surprising thing was how engaged the kids were to learn about oysters and oyster farming. We even shucked a few and my son had a taste for the first time!

Overall, a fun and memorable 2 hrs. Highly recommend.
