Captain Joe Jerome offers fishing charters out of Phippsburg, ME. Explore the pristine Maine waters from spring though fall.

Our family-friendly fishing trip offers a fun introduction to ocean fishing for beginners, families & kids (ages 7+).

***PLEASE NOTE*** If you are looking for big game charters or to fill your freezer with catch to take home, there are many other great Maine guides who specialize in Tuna, Striper, Shark, or Haddock trips.

We will target different inshore species depending on the time of year, including Cod, Pollock and Mackerel, after which we will haul lobster traps.

You'll be fishing on a 22' Boston Whaler that accommodates up to 4 guests who must be physically able to stand whilst fishing, and comfortably maneuver around a boat.

Captain Joe covers all of your fishing equipment and licenses. You only need to pack your drinks and snacks for the day and you're ready to go.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with this fishing charter! From start to finish, everything was seamless and fun. Captain Joe was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. We caught some amazing fish and made memories we’ll never forget. Highly recommend!!! Captain Joe gave us a great experience. We are complete novices, he made everything easy, and was very patient with my son. The joy on my son’s face when he caught so many fish, and pulled up the lobster traps was priceless. He was knowledgeable and andwered all of our questions.

Thank you Captain Joe for another great trip out on the water! We saw everything from Porpoises, Harbor Seals, and Birds. We were successful in catching Pollocks, Mackerel,Cod, and Striper Bass!

We absolutely can't thank him enough for the amazing time on the ocean every time! We'll be back :-)

Joe took me and my 3 grandchildren (ages 7, 7 and 9) out for a great morning of fishing and learning about oysters, crabs and lobsters. The look on my grandkids faces said it all when they brought up 3 fish at a time. Can’t wait till next year to try again to land a big striped bass.

Capt Joe runs a clean boat and uses top-line equipment to get you hooked on Maine fish. He takes the extra effort to make sure guests are comfortable and even uses chum to maximize chances. The keeper fish were gutted and we are happy customers, thanks again for a great time.
