Welcome to Wahoodat Fishing Charters! We offer nearshore and offshore fishing trips designed to fit a variety of budgets and preferences, with two boats available to best suit your needs. Our focus is on creating a fun, family-friendly experience and working closely with each guest to ensure an unforgettable day on the water. We are also proud to be 'Fishing for a Cure.' A portion of every trip goes toward supporting research for SYNGAP1, a rare neurological condition. Our daughter Sophia was diagnosed in 2019, and this mission is deeply personal as we hope to help fund research toward better treatments and, one day, a cure.     Greatest trip by far

    3/4 Day Trip – Bottom/Trolling - 6:00 AM • 6 adults • 2 children

    We took our entire family on a 6-hour charter aboard Wahoo Dat with Captain Corey and deckhand Max, and they were outstanding from start to finish. Every aspect of the trip was top-notch. We caught plenty of red snapper, even while many other boats were struggling. Captain Corey knew exactly where to put us and got the job done. Deckhand Max was incredibly helpful, especially with our little kids, making sure they had a great time and got to catch fish too. This was an unforgettable trip, and there’s no question who we’ll be booking with next time. Highly recommend Captain Corey and Max if you’re looking for an amazing fishing charter!

    Our Best Charter Yet!

    2 Hour Night Fishing Trip • 3 adults

    This was our best Charter yet! Our first time night fishing and caught more fish in two hours than we have in the other tripes which were at least 4 hours each. We limited in Speckled Trout in under 2 hours. Spent the remainder catching and releasing. A lot cooler too! Captain Braden was amazing! Very personable, helpful and great with the 10 year olds I had with me! We had 3 other charters scheduled this trip which were cancelled due to weather conditions. This was a last minute attempt to get a fishing trip in and not disrupting the boys before returning home. Captain Hebert was super accommodating and got Capt. Braden on the spur of the moment to take us out the same night I tried to book it! I’m glad we tried at the last minute as we were not disappointed! This will not be our last Charter with Capt. Braden nor will it be our last night charter! Thank you Woohoodat Fishing Co.! Y’all are the best! Laissez les bons temps rouler!

    Capitan Brydon is Supper Cool!

    4 Hour Offshore Fishing Trip • 5 adults

    Captain Brydon is super cool! We had an awesome offshore fishing trip targeting red snapper, and we definitely got the job done. We also caught several other species along the way. We landed a triggerfish, but since the season was closed, it was safely released. Captain Brydon was friendly, professional, and very attentive to our entire crew throughout the trip. He worked hard to keep us on the fish and made sure everyone had a great experience. I highly recommend booking a trip with him, and we’ll definitely be back for another adventure! 🎣🐟

    Such an awesome fishing trip!

    4 Hour Inshore Fishing Trip - 1:00 PM • 5 adults • 4 children

    Thank you Corey and Braden! We had such a great trip. I brought four of my boys 11-14 years old. Braden had us on fish almost instantly. we caught a ton of them. All of my boys had a blast. These men can’t control Mother Nature,but they definitely know what they’re doing. I’ve been on several guided trips and this was definitely one of the best. Thank you guys again. we will definitely be using you again when we come back. Thank you for making our vacation trip 10x Better.

    Great Boat, Captain, & Crew

    5 Hour Trip – Bottom/Trolling (PM) • 3 adults • 1 child

    As all of us do, we work hard to come play. I reached outto the captain and got an instant response. We talked and he made his recommendations. We booked the five hour for the next afternoon. Great communication, captain set us to go earlier in the day due to the conditions. We hooked up soon as we stopped and continued till we all had our limits. The mate Jackson was very attentive to us and especially our 8yo, he kept her on tight lines reeling them in. Awesome trip, will book again.
