i had a great time with Captain Tom. we had some good weather, but had to pivot the plan due to the wind. I had my 14-yr old son and 7-yr old daughter and Tom was very helpful with both of them. We ended up with a ton of delicious white trout and some fun fights with sailcats. we did an afternoon booking and thankfully the same wind that kept us in the bay was refteshing for mid-july weather. Tom was helpful and i hope to go with him again next time we are in the area.

Captain Tom was prompt,  polite, and professional. His boat and tackle were clean and were perfect for the fish we were targeting. He gave us realistic expectations for the day and told us where we were going to be fishing and why. His knowledge of the area was wonderful and we got information and stories about some of the spectacular boats and homes that we passed as we made our way to the fishing locations he had chosen for us. We were one of the first boats to arrive and with specific instructions and fresh bait, we we catching fish quickly. His efforts to insure we had fresh and appropriate live bait was apparent as all three of us were catching fish. Tom’s energy and enthusiasm was geniune as he netted, unhooked, and rebaited our rods quickly to get us back in the action. We targeted three species of fish that morning and were able to put 2 or more fish of each, in the boat. He had us back at the dock on time. He helped us take pictures and cleaned our fish promptly and professionally. We had a wonderful morning of fishing and we would recommend Tom and Double A Charters to anyone seeking a quality fishing trip.

We had an awesome time with Captain Thomas! He was a fantastic host—friendly, patient, and made sure everyone had a great experience. The highlight of the trip was watching our daughter catch her very first fish! It made for an unforgettable day on the water. Tom was very knowledgeable and friendly, worked hard to get us on fish the whole morning. Started with several big red drum too big to keep, then out to mangrove snapper, bluefish and a flounder, then finished off with a couple white trout and a sail catfish. Overall, an awesome morning with lots of action!
