Double A Charters welcomes you to a fun and pleasant fishing experience in Orange Beach, Alabama. Come join Captain Tom Myers and have a great time on the water as you fish the area's inshore and nearshore grounds but also its flats, reefs, and wrecks which will all offer you plenty to catch. Your trip will start on a 21' Sea Pro center console that can accommodate up to 4 anglers. It runs on a 140 HP Suzuki engine with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots, uses GPS, a radio as well as a fishfinder system for navigation, and has got a livewell to supply live bait.
Some of the many species you can target include King and Spanish Mackerel, Red Snapper, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, and Sheepshead. You'll catch them by bottom fishing and spinning on light tackle and you can keep all the fish you reel in if you want to! Also, you're free to bring kids on your trip and it'll be even more fun!
As for the things you'll need for the trip, you should only bring your favorite snacks and drinks. The captain will take care of the fishing gear, bait, and licenses, and will also clean and fillet your catch for free!

Captain Tom was prompt, polite, and professional. His boat and tackle were clean and were perfect for the fish we were targeting. He gave us realistic expectations for the day and told us where we were going to be fishing and why. His knowledge of the area was wonderful and we got information and stories about some of the spectacular boats and homes that we passed as we made our way to the fishing locations he had chosen for us. We were one of the first boats to arrive and with specific instructions and fresh bait, we we catching fish quickly. His efforts to insure we had fresh and appropriate live bait was apparent as all three of us were catching fish. Tom's energy and enthusiasm was geniune as he netted, unhooked, and rebaited our rods quickly to get us back in the action. We targeted three species of fish that morning and were able to put 2 or more fish of each, in the boat. He had us back at the dock on time. He helped us take pictures and cleaned our fish promptly and professionally. We had a wonderful morning of fishing and we would recommend Tom and Double A Charters to anyone seeking a quality fishing trip. Thank you, Tom! Jay, Ally, and Alyssa

Booked a 1/2 day trip for myself my Son and Father in law. Caught some trout , mackerel and red snapper. Really wanted to get on some reds, just wasn't our day. Would recommend Tom to anyone that wants to charter a trip. If the Lord allows me to live long enough I will defiantly be back and will do my best to book with Double A and Captain Tom Myers. Thank you sir for the experience.
He was great at putting us on the fish, very informative of what the plan was and most of all he made sure my kids had a great time! He was extremely patient and personable and we will be using him again when we come back! His knowledge of the area and how to fish his different spots is what netted us our catch on the day. You can’t go wrong choosing Captain Tom!
I enjoyed spending tge morning with all of you! Kids were troopers, for sure! I had a great time watching them have a great time. That Grouper you caught was a ver lucky fish! Definitely hard to watch him swim off! Hope to see you again next time you're in town!
Captain Tom is a great captin, the fishing was tough due to non-tide movement and he was up front with us from the beginning. We caught several Red Fish over 30” long. He is very attentive to whatever you needs are, and knows where to fish. I would recommend him to anyone that asks.
Todd, I really enjoyed spending the morning with all of you! Mother Nature dealt us some unfortunate cards today. I was more than happy to see the Giant redfish ya'll caught! Some very good angling for sure! Hopefully I can get you back out next time you're visiting the area. Enjoyed spending the morning with you!
Tom was a great guide and knew the area very well. Some guides if you’re not catching fish, they’ll just stay in the same spot forever but he understands that catching fish is the name of the game and if it slows down in one place he’s moving onto the next. Highly recommend recommended.
