Techniques
Open water trolling. Depending on the time of year we will use dipsy divers and/or planar boards with worm harnesses, spoons or crankbaits. We adapt with the conditions to consistently put limits of Walleye in the boat and do our best to select baits and areas that will give you the best chance at catching big fish.

Great trip Sunday 7/6. Caught over 50 and kept 30 walleye plus two big steelhead. John and crew are heading back with a cooler full of walleyes. Fishing will continue to be good through the summer.

Fall steelhead season has begun. Fished a few hours yesterday afternoon boating 9 and losing several more. Mix of trolling and casting caught fish. Biggest was 30" and 9lbs.

Walleye fishing is amazing right now. Folks who have been fishing since the walleye boom started in the 1980's are saying its the best they've ever seen. I had two charters this past weekend with easy limits of nice sized walleye sending guys home with loads of good eating walleye fillets. We are fishing off shore 8-15 miles trolling targeting fish 45-60ft down using dipsy divers and wireline with crankbaits.

Fished a couple days this weekend. Memorial Day normally marks the start of great walleye fishing off Geneva State Park Marina and this year is no different. Quick limits Saturday evening and Sunday morning. We are seeing a mix of year classes. Lots of 19-22in fish with several 26-28in fish. Fish are still relatively close to shore only having to go a few miles to get on the best bite.

Past weekend we fished the Lake Erie Walleye Trail out of Geneva. Fishing is fantastic right now with lots of big fish. We weighed 30.62lbs for our biggest 5 fish finishing just out of the money. Lots of 3-6lb fish are being caught right now and rhe action is non stop. We've been trolling wire line and crankbaits and dipsy diver with a mix of baits.
