We booked a nearshore trip but Captain Randy and mate Drake recommended we go for trout in the sound so we did and we limited out! My 3 sons and I all caught really nice trout, fishing was fast and furious, we had a lot of fun.

Randy had let me know in advance that fishing was not ideal due to the hurricane that had blown through prior that week, but we still chose to go out. We had fun catching the bait and enjoyed the time spent on the boat, even if we weren’t successful in catching the bigger fish. The only negative was that the trip indicated we would be provided drinks and we were not. 4 hours of 80 degree weather in the sun proved to be a lot with no hydration. We did the 4 hour morning Shark Charter with Captain Randy. Randy is the man! He was super chill and down to earth. We reeled in a couple nice Hammerheads. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Had a great time. Went out to catch trout. We got on them and caught several and a sting ray to boot. Would recommend using riptide. We have used them both times we been out the past 2 years.

Had a great day fishing. Captain randy knows we’re the bait are and we’re to get the best catch. Second yr with ripetide charter. I will be back.
