I booked a half day of fishing as a surprise for my husband and our boys!  They had a FANTASTIC time! Scott and Greg were very knowledgeable and kind and just great people.  Great fishing!  I can’t thank you enough.  They enjoyed it so much they booked there next trip! Highly recommend!

Awesome fishing experience on Lake Erie. I caught my first Walleye and Steelhead with “Making Waves Charters”, located in Ashtabula Ohio, on 7/19/2023. These guys knew and had what it takes to put us on some good fish. Good time had by all. An experience worth recommending to others, if like me who desires to fish in all of the Great Lakes.

I booked this trip for my dad’s birthday, but on the morning of our trip the winds were real high and water was choppy.  Makin’ Waves said they’d take us out still if we wanted but that it would be pretty rough, and instead offered to reschedule for the next day.  The lake was real nice the next morning and we had an awesome time! Caught our daily limit with some real massive Walleye.  Great crew that worked hard to make sure we had an awesome day on the water; and we did.  Definitely... More

From start to finish it was a great trip. left the dock at 5 a.m. started fishing at around 6 and we had our limit by 10 a.m. First Mate Jim did an awesome job. Highly recommend and will be returning next year!

Great bunch of people just make sure before you book your trip that the fishing is going to be very good water was little bit cool for fish to bite good but crew worked very hard and got us couple at least
