- Background
- I have fished in the Gulf of Mexico since I was a child. I first saw all the fish people were catching in the gulf at the dock and was absolutely hooked. I've taken approximately 4,000 paying charters out in the Gulf for hire over the years. I enjoy teaching people to fish and watching them have a fabulous time catching them.
- Techniques
- I have several styles of fishing. When I bottom fish we use the proper tackle necessary to get the fish for our customers. Sometimes this requires light tackle to get a bite but sometimes we have to bring out the big gear to get the fish in the boat. These fish are masters at breaking your line off on structure near the bottom. I like to troll as well, Catching King Mackerel,Mahi, Blue Fish and more. Trolling can be a lot of fun!
