Rivers are in good shape. Oswego is fishing well and the Salmon has been hit or miss. Good action along the shorelines for brown trout when the weather is right. Weather looks like its going to remain on the cooler side which should extend our season to the end of April. Grab a remaining date now for either the Oswego or Salmon rivers. If walleye season is anything like last year it should be a bang up year for them. May - Mid June.

Spring is almost here. Warm weather teaser this weekend had our thoughta drifting to spring fishing conditions. Steelhead and browns will be in the river until the end of April, early May - with opportunity for a shoreline troll if conditions are favorable. Walleye opener is May 1st - Walleye fishing was phenomonal last year and I expect it to be the same this season. Many fish in the upper 20” class last season. Bite is turning on pretty good. Eggs and plugs both taking fish. Cooler temps on the way - about to het real good.

Been a slow start to the season with high water temps. Rain yesterday seemed to turn the bite on for us today. No crazy numbers yet but enough to keep us interested.

A year makes all the difference. 10x the water in Oswego from this time last year. First few kings were caught up north over the last week. It’s starting. Have a few dates left to fill. Dont sleep on em, if you want em jump on em.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re mid august already if you haven’t checked your calendar lately. Looks like next week may be a wet one and some cooler temps coming so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few kings poking around a few tribs north of me in a couple weeks. We made up some ground on water levels this summer - after a super dry season last year…let’s keep it up. Rain dances daily. I have some early season mid-September dates open and a couple October days left for kings. Pm for dates. November is filing quick for browns and chromers, jump on em now if you want em.
