- Captain Dan has been an avid fisherman his entire life. Following in his father's footsteps, he enlisted in the US Navy. This is where his fascination for the ocean and saltwater fishing began. Captain Dan's passion for fishing and the outdoors grew over the years and led him to many unique destinations and exciting adventures. After relocating to the Charleston area 14 years ago, the desire to share his experience and passion with others is what led him to establish Fin & Tonic Charters.

- Captain Dan's favorite style of fishing is live bait bottom fishing over live bottom and structure. Jigging for Amberjack, Snapper, and Grouper is always an exhilarating experience! The anticipation of dropping that first bait down when the sonar is marking large schools of fish, finding that perfect weed line, or throwing a plug at a school of fish busting bait on the surface is what it's all about!
